PM Internship Scheme
A stipend of around ₹9,000 a month plus a one-time travel grant of about ₹6,000 for an internship with a leading company
This central scheme places young people in internships with large companies so they get real work experience instead of only a certificate. You are paid a stipend of around ₹9,000 a month during the internship and a one-time amount of about ₹6,000 towards travel. The aim is to give roughly one crore young people a first exposure to how a company actually works.
Who can apply
- Young person looking for first work experience, applying through the scheme portal
- Meets the education requirement of the internship role you apply for
- Not already in full-time employment

- Education marksheets
- Bank passbook
- Resume or basic details of your education and skills
How to apply
Register and apply on the PM Internship Scheme portal at pminternship.mca.gov.in, choose the internship roles you want, and wait for the company to shortlist you.
