Apply online at sspy-up.gov.in under the widow and destitute women pension section, or through the District Probation Office or the tehsil office in Baghpat.
Rejected or still waiting? Check these first
Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Bank account is a joint account instead of the woman's own account
- Aadhaar not linked to the bank account, so the monthly transfer fails
- Death certificate of the husband not attached
- Income certificate expired or issued for the wrong household
Still stuck after checking all of these? Tell us what happened and we will help you work out which office to approach.
