UP Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana
Loans of up to ₹10 lakh with a 50 percent interest subsidy for setting up a village-level industry
This Uttar Pradesh scheme is for people who want to start a small industry inside a village rather than move to a city for work. The loan goes up to ₹10 lakh and the government pays half of the interest on it, so your monthly burden is lower than on a normal loan. It is run through the state Khadi and Village Industries Board.
Who can apply
- Resident of Uttar Pradesh setting up a village-level industry
- Unit is located in a rural area
- Aged 18 or above with a project the bank can assess
What to take with you
- Aadhaar card and PAN card
- Residence proof of the village where the unit will run
- Project report with costs
- Bank passbook
- Caste certificate, if claiming any category benefit
How to apply
Apply through the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board at upkvib.gov.in, or at its district office, which forwards the case to a bank for the loan.
Rejected or still waiting? Check these first
Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Proposed unit is not in a rural area, so it falls outside the village industry definition
- Bank did not sanction the loan even after the board recommended the case
Still stuck after checking all of these? Tell us what happened and we will help you work out which office to approach.
