DAY-NRLM / UPSRLM (Ajeevika) Women's Self-Help Group Support
₹15,000 revolving fund, a community fund of roughly ₹1.25 to 2.5 lakh, and bank loans up to ₹3 lakh for a women's group
This is the mission that builds and funds women's self-help groups in villages. Once a group is formed and running properly it receives a revolving fund of ₹15,000, then a Community Investment Fund of up to roughly ₹1.25 to 2.5 lakh, and after that the group can be linked to bank loans of up to ₹3 lakh. It is the backbone of women's collective work across rural Uttar Pradesh.
Who can apply
- Women from rural households in Uttar Pradesh
- Group of women formed into a self-help group and meeting and saving regularly
- Group must maintain its accounts and repayment record

- Aadhaar cards of all group members
- Group registration and meeting records
- Group bank account passbook
- Savings and repayment register
How to apply
Join or form a self-help group with the help of the village level worker or the Block Mission Management Unit at the Chhaprauli block office. Information is on upsrlm.org.

Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Group is too new or has not kept regular savings and meeting records
- Group bank account not opened or not operated in the group's name
- Earlier group loan not repaid on time
