Farm loan waiver of up to ₹1 lakh
The Uttar Pradesh government writes off up to ₹1 lakh of an existing crop loan for eligible small and marginal farmers who are struggling with that debt. If your name is in the list, the bank clears that much of the loan against your account.
Who can apply
- Small and marginal farmers of Uttar Pradesh
- You must have an existing crop loan from a bank
- Only loans up to ₹1 lakh are covered
What to take with you
- Aadhaar card
- Bank loan account number and passbook
- Land papers (khatauni)
How to apply
Check whether your name is in the list on the loan-waiver portal at upkisankarjrahat.upsdc.gov.in, or ask at the bank branch that gave you the crop loan.
Rejected or still waiting? Check these first
Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Loan is not a crop loan, or is from a lender not covered by the scheme
- Land record is outdated or the holding is larger than the small and marginal limit
- Aadhaar details do not match the loan account details
