UP Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Nirman Shramik Welfare Board
More than 20 benefits for registered construction workers, including ₹5 lakh accidental death cover, ₹4,000 to ₹22,000 a year in children's scholarships, and around ₹55,000 marriage assistance
Every construction worker in Uttar Pradesh can register with this board, and registration is what unlocks the benefits. There are more than twenty of them. They include accidental death cover of ₹5 lakh, scholarship support for your children ranging from roughly ₹4,000 to ₹22,000 a year, and marriage assistance of around ₹55,000. Registration has to be renewed, so keep the card active.

Rejected or still waiting? Check these first
Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Registration lapsed, so the worker was not active on the date of the claim
- No employer or contractor certificate proving the days of construction work
- Claim filed after the time limit for that particular benefit
- Bank account details do not match the Aadhaar
Still stuck after checking all of these? Tell us what happened and we will help you work out which office to approach.
